Carpool is a good thing!  Driving time (non-commute hours) from Marina District in SF, or downtown Berkeley, about 1 hr 15 minutes

 

Take 101 North across GG Bridge from SF, or I-580West across Richmond Bridge from East Bay

Take 101 North from San Rafael, passing through Novato and Petaluma 

Take the CA-116 WEST exit toward ROHNERT PARK/SEBASTOPOL, at bottom of ramp turn Left, go 4.8 mi

Left on  Lone Pine Road, go 1.6 mi

Left on Bloomfield Road, go .9 mi

Right on  Kennedy Road, go 1.4 mi (At stop sign look 100 feet or so to your left, turn Right on Kennedy from there)

Left on  Barnett Valley Road, go 1.9 mi

Left on Burnside Road, go .8 mi

Right on Moonshine Road, go 1 mi.

Arrive at 11010 Moonshine Road

Note that Moonshine Road is a private gravel road, marked only by mailboxes and a small hand-painted sign.  We are at the very end (1 mile- not .2m as stated on online maps), last gate on the right.  It's a ways down the driveway so don't give up.  Owl, bobcat, frog, jack rabbit, banana slug, deer, hawk, and yours truly look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful land. 

 

You are most welcome to spend the night!  Can accommodate 12 in beds, more on the floor.  Or  sleep outside under the stars. Walk on the beach (15 minutes away), wine tasting nearby, take naps, meditate, walk, bike, indulge yourself at our neighborhood spa ("Osmosis" in Freestone), be silly...
